A very warm welcome to my website, and to my art, thank you for coming over! I hope you enjoy experiencing my art. If you want to find out more about me and my paintings, below is what my friends wrote about it :)
ABOUT ANIA’S ART
Ania’s art is reaching outward, towards the person or an experience it was sparked by. It captures a single moment, an emotion - these are the themes that guide her - from the initial idea to its final expression on the canvas.
Delicate and highly sensual, Ania’s amorphous works are inspired by nature, music, art and personal stories. Exploring warm, pastel tones with soft strokes of the brush, her paintings portray fleeting images of emotional states, memories, and sensual discoveries.
Ania’s method is based on inviting the viewer not to her own world, but into theirs. Allegorical, seemingly incompatible elements piece together to form a new, inner logic and evoke a dialogue with the viewer, encouraging them to explore their own thoughts and feelings in unexpected ways. While Ania shares some hints of what inspired her paintings, she hopes the viewer will pause and find their very own and personal meaning in her painting and discover something about oneself. That’s why most pieces are accompanied by questions which invite the viewer to stop for a moment and look into what brings them comfort and joy.
ABOUT ANIA
Ania spent her childhood in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a small town in the south of Poland where 17th century monastery is towering over the Narnia-like green hills and forests. Driven by curiosity and belief that everything is possible, she moved to Kraków as a teenager, and later to Warsaw, where she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism & Political Sciences at Warsaw University. She spent 15+ years in Switzerland, New York and London, to recently settle back in Kraków, her beloved city.
Throughout her professional HR career, Ania has been creating A-ha moments and interactive and developmental events and experiences for senior leaders and executives in the US, UK and Europe. She has qualified as an executive coach to help people re-discover what makes them unique, what matters to them most at work, and how to get there.
Her artistic career started inconspicuously, with drawing situational cartoons as personalized gifts and for use in corporate presentations. In 2016, she returned to painting, an activity she had enjoyed as a young girl, initially with acrylic paints and later shifting to oil on canvas.
In 2024, her painting “Sunrise” was selected for the Gallery Sausalito’s Largest Small Works Show and sold in California, opening a whole new chapter in her artistic life.
